Punjab and Haryana HC judge questiuoned by CBI

A special team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has questioned one of the two women judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court whose names figured in the cash-for-judges scam here last month.

The CBI officials questioned Justice Nirmaljit Kaur at her residence in Sector 11, CBI sources confirmed Tuesday. Kaur was the first judge at whose residence a packet containing Rs 1.5 million in cash was delivered by the assistant of Haryana’s former additional advocate general Sanjeev Bansal Aug 13.
