Police book paramour for killing woman

Commissionerate police have booked a paramour for hacking his girlfriend to death. Palwinder Singh, SHO, PS Rama Mandi said the police achieved success in cracking the blind murder of Promila Puri, whose body was found in Shalimar Colony on April 19, this year. He said Vijay Kumar, husband of the deceased woman had revealed to the police that his wife Promila was in love with one Sandip Kumar, a ticket agent of Ladowali road and wanted to get rid of him to save his family. Meantime, her body was recovered from Shalimar colony. He said he had doubts that Sandip had murdered his wife. In another incident, Basti Baba Khel police booked a young girl and her family for kidnapping a 17-year-old boy Manish. Avtar Singh, father of the boy told the police that the girl had trapped his son in one sided love and had disappeared with him along with her family. Additional SHO Onkar Singh said a case of kidnapping had been registered against the girl.
