Water tanker suppliers make a quick buck
Private water tanker suppliers cashed in on the ongoing water crisis in Chandigarh and Mohali. While residents faced a tough time, private water tanker suppliers made a quick buck. They reportedly increased the tanker prices. A 4,000-litre tanker costs anything between Rs 600 and Rs 1,500 in the city. A few days ago, it was priced between Rs 400 and Rs 500, depending on the distance.
