Hot weather conditions prevailed in most parts of Haryana and Punjab on Saturday, even as few areas in the states received rainfall.According to MeT department here, Union Territory Chandigarh recorded a temperature of 38 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal.Among other places in Haryana, Ambala recorded maximum temperature of 39.1 degrees, two notches above normal while Karnal settled at 37.4 degrees Celsius.
