India progressing from Scam India to Skill India: Harsimrat Kaur Badal

Union Minister for Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts have led the country from Scam India towards Skill India making it grow by leaps and bound. “The Digital India campaign is yet another effort of the government to make India shine at the international level. Central Government is working towards making India a global giant as well as raising the status of people living below poverty line”, she said while interacting with mediapersons here today. The Union Minister said, due to excellent working of the Modi government, country’s fiscal deficit has reduced and every person is on path of development. She said when Prime Minister Narendra Modi government took over the reins of country, it came to know that Congress has rendered the country penniless and plunged it into debt with its scams. In last more than a year, the Modi government has made earnest efforts in filing the coffers and make India economically strong. Government schemes such as Make In India, Swachh Bharat campaign, Jan Dhan Yojana, Skill India and others have brought happiness to every Indian, she added.
