Taking extreme measures, the Chandigarh Police on Monday bolted some residents of Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, inside their homes before Punjab and Haryana Governor and UT Administrator Kaptan Singh Solanki’s visit to the area to inaugurate the 24×7 water supply scheme. The vehicles that were part of the Governor’s motorcade were parked near the houses that were bolted.
