Evening OPD to start at GMSH-16 from August 15

The UT health department is all geared up to launch the evening out patient departments (OPDs) at the Government Multi Specialty Hospital, Sector-16 (GMSH-16) from August 15. The hospital had first started evening OPD two years back but was unable to keep it functioning.The OPD will be initially started in five specialties- medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics and general surgery. In the first phase, the OPD will be set up at GMSH-16, following which it will also be started at Civil Hospitals in Sector 22 and Manimajra.
