After a nudge by STA three months ago, education dept to issue notices to school

Despite three months having passed since the State Transport Authority (STA) sent a communication to the UT Education Department to instruct city schools to issue an advisory for parents not to opt for autos and unauthorised vans, the Education Department has failed to do so. As a result, overloaded auto-rickshaws continue to ply on city roads. Despite the fact that some of the private and the government schools submitted complaints about the overloaded auto-rickshaws ferrying their schoolchildren, nothing has been done by the department.
