HC sends UT, Golf Club back to mediation centre

The Punjab and Haryana high court has sent the matter pertaining to tussle between Chandigarh Golf Club and the UT administration over the increased lease rent back for mediation.During a hearing on Tuesday, the division bench of justice SJ Vazifdar and justice HS Sidhu was told mediation between the parties had failed. However, the high court bench, without recording the reasons for the failure, observed that it saw no reason why mediation should fail and asked both parties to appear before the mediation centre on August 26, while posting the matter for further hearing on September 3. The first round of mediation between the parties was moderated by justice Kuldeep Singh.
