In a conclusion that will envelop above 6.50 lakh government employees and pensioners, the Punjab cabinet on Thursday gave nod to “cashless health insurance scheme “replacing the offered policy of reimbursing medical expenses.The scheme would be made necessary for employees and pensioners,but it would be optional for All India Service Officers, serving and ex-MLAs, serving and ex-judges of Punjab and Haryana high court.
