A 14-year-old committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at her house in Lalru in the wee hours of Thursday.The girl, a student of class XII, was alone in her house when she took the extreme step. Her father was away at work and her mother and brother at their native village in Bihar. The incident came to light only when her father arrived home late at night. He cut loose his daughter and informed the police.As no suicide note was found near the body, police have ruled out any foul play. However, sources said that her brother and mother were patients of depression and the girl too was showing similar indications.
