Badal for roping in world-class agencies to boost youths' tech skills

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Sunday asked the State Technical Education and Industrial Training department to rope in world-class agencies to equip unemployed youth with the latest technological skills.Presiding over a high-level meeting to finalise the modalities to train the unemployed youth in various fields like healthcare and paramedics, driving and automotive, animal husbandry and allied farming, and construction, Badal directed the technical education department to engage the skill training and placement agencies with a proven track-record to enhance the capacity building of the five upcoming multi-skill development centres (MSDCs) in the state.
