Bajwa seeks CBI probe on BJP leaders in drug smuggling charges

Exhorting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to listen to Punjab’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’, state Congress chief Partap Singh Bajwa on Friday demanded CBI investigation against senior BJP leaders who were allegedly ‘involved’ in drug smuggling.I have been seeking CBI probe into the drug racket and my stand is vindicated.Today not only SAD but their alliance partner BJP is also involved in the drug racket,” Bajwa said in a statement here.On Wednesday, police booked five persons, including BJP leader, BJYM chiefs of Ferozepur district, on charges of corruption and trying to help drug smugglers.
