Congress Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh today warned Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal against playing Khalistan agenda for partisan interests and own political survival. Reacting to recent his transfer of convicted khalistan terrorists to punjab, he said. “Please behave responsibly in the interest of Punjab as we cannot afford another dark era as we are yet to come out of the repercussions of the previous oneâ€. Addressing a public meeting organised by senior Congress leader and former MLA Rana K P Singh here. Capt Amarinder said CM Badal had multiple reasons to fall back upon the panthic and Khalistan agenda. He said the Chief Minister had failed on all the promises he had made in the manifesto and now he was resorting to emotive issue to divert the public attention. The former CM said the last nine years had proved to be disastrous for Punjab under Mr Badal. He said the industry was fleeing the state to other parts of the country as it did not have any confidence in this govt. With the result there were no jobs in Punjab and unemployment was rising, he pointed out.
