Girl jumps from a moving AC bus in Punjab, Dies

In a shameful eve teasing incident in Punjab, a girl died as she was forced to jump off a moving AC bus while trying to save herself from molesters. The incident took place in District Moga, 10 kilometres from the city on the Moga – Bathinda Highway.

The incident has raised a question on the security and safety of women who travel frequently in buses in private and state run buses. A similar incident had happened in Haryana few months back but nothing much has been done to safeguard women.
