Aiming to familiarize himself with the problems faced by students at government schools, Punjab education minister Daljit Singh Cheema visited two government schools in Banur sector on Wednesday and said that the government would provide free coaching for competitive exams to students who could not afford them.Cheema, who visited Government Senior Secondary School Banur and Government High School Dharamgarh, said free coaching would be provided to the students of government schools at cluster or block level at the Banur School. He said the science lecturers of government schools would give coaching to the students and the facility would be provided by the end of the current session. He said that more than 1600 students had availed the free coaching facility provided at the district level.
