Moga-Barnala highway in poor state

The Moga-Barnala National Highway-71 was damaged between Baude and Badhni Kalan villages about 20 km from the district headquarters earlier this week, but neither the district administration nor the national highway wing of the Public Works Department have initiated repair work. Local people said the highway stretch had caved in due to heavy rainfall. Many minor accidents had occurred in the past couple of days on this spot. Many vehicles had also got damaged but no government official has visited the site so far.
