A SpiceJet flight with 159 persons on board suffered a tyre burst while it was taxiing for take-off at Amritsar airport this evening. The Mumbai-bound flight SG345 from Srinagar was scheduled to take off at 5 PM, sources at Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport said. Airport Director Venkateshwar Rao said all passengers and crew were safe. He said the airport staff alerted the Air Traffic Control officials immediately.
