PM Modi took several steps for Dalits, farmers' progress: Maneka Gandhi

Union Minister Maneka Gandhi on Monday said that Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre has taken several steps for the upliftment of Dalits, farmers, labourers and downtrodden people by launching various development schemes for them in the last one year of its rule. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has initiated commendable work to uplift Dalits, farmers, and people from economically poor strata of the society while launching various developmental schemes for them,” Gandhi said. The Union Minister for Women and Child Development was in the Indo-Pak bordering district of Tarn Taran, to address party workers’ meeting.
