Former Union Minister and sitting Patiala MLA Preneet Kaur on Tuesday said that she does not have any bank account overseas in her name with any foreign bank.My statement was recorded by Income Tax authorities at Ludhiana (earlier). I was not shown any document which may indicate that I had a foreign bank account or a Trust. I gave my statement accordingly that I do not have any foreign bank account or Trust,” she said in a statement today responding to a news report published in a leading English daily.Kaur is the wife of Congress’ Deputy leader in Lok Sabha and former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh, who is also the sitting MP from Amritsar.She has also in the past strongly denied having any bank account overseas in her name with any foreign bank.
