Punjab Agro starts marketing first batch of organic wheat

Punjab Agro Industries Corporation has started marketing its first batch of organic wheat. The produce is available in 25-kilogram packages at the Punjab Agro Industries Corporation office in Salem Tabri, near Jalandhar bypass. Punjab Agro Industries Corporation district manager Inderpreet Singh said Punjab government had deputed Punjab Agro as a nodal agency for selling the high-quality organic wheat. He said the wheat was grown by more than 500 farmers on 1,200 acres in different parts of the state and now they have started to market it.
