Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd (PSPCL) and Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd (PSTCL) are all set to launch a disaster management plan to deal with any kind of natural calamities, sabotage or grid failures. The plan is likely be launched by this December. PSPCL and PSTCL responsible to generate, transmit, distribute and maintain electricity supply system in the state have devised a comprehensive disaster management strategy to make power available under all adversities to the citizens, a power department spokesperson said here today.
