JALANDHAR: A man was shot at point-blank range by two motorcycle-borne robbers on Monday night when he was returning with his wife and two sons on a bike at Dyalpur village at around 9.30pm. In her complaint to police,Palwinder Kaur, wife of victim Kuldeep Singh, 48, alleged that two youths on a motorcycle stopped them, took away Rs 18,000 and two mobile phones from them and then shot at Kuldeep from point blank range. Case has been registered and are investigating the murder from all angles. They suspected that it might not be a case of simple robbery.
