At least four to five people dressed in police uniform looted cash van of Axis Bank carrying approximately Rs two crore, while the van was on its way from Ludhiana to Abohar police said today. According to police, the incident took place at 1230 hrs. The gang had laid a Naka at Jagraon 25 km away from Ludhiana. They stopped the van and enquired, if there was any illegal item, but the driver of the van said the van belonged to bank, the gang members did not believe them and sat inside the van and told the driver and the guard to take the van to the police station. Later on the way, the gang pushed the driver and the guard of the van and took the van two km away and gathered the cash from the van. Investigation is on.
