A white pigeon that flew into India with a Pakistan stamp has created a flutter in Punjab’s Pathankot district, prompting authorities to send it for an X-ray exmaination. The pigeon, with a Pakistani seal and “Tehsil Shakargarh, district Narowal” stamped on it in Urdu, was spotted by Ramesh Chand of Manwal village.
As the bird looked “suspect” because of the Pakistani marking, Chand took it to Bamial police station. A buzz spread in the area that it might be a “spy pigeon”.
