In a significant decision, Transport Department has decided to provide application forms on nominal fee to the public of the state for driving licenses. Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Transport Minister Ajit Singh Kohar said that it has come to the notice of the department that some miscreants are sailing these forms on higher rates i.e. Rs.50 to 100 to public. It has been decided by the department to print these forms at his own level for the public interest at reasonable price so that general public could not be harassed. Kohar further said that Transport Department had printed the applications forms and provided to all District Transport Officers for the public. These forms could be purchased from the concerned DTO on paying Rs.20/-only.
