The Local Bodies Department is mulling over bringing in a revised water metering policy in the forthcoming Assembly session. Even as a policy to this effect had been finalized two and a half years ago, to check the indiscriminate use of water for domestic and commercial purposes, the Local Bodies Department had failed to get it implemented.
