Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party will be contending the assembly elections in Gujarat. Gujarat is the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As per the party sources the decision was taken by Kejriwal itself after completing the campaigning for Punjab polls.
Arvind Kejriwal went to Bengaluru today for his annual health visit have already told all division heads of the Aam Aadmi Party to begin the groundwork for both Gujarat assembly election as well as Delhi municipal election, which are planned to be held this year.
The AAP have contended for all seats in Punjab & Goa expecting a big presence in both states. AAP’s strategy is to contest elections in states that have a two-cornered fight and where the opposition is weak,” a leader said.
After all this, it is interesting to see will AAP manage to win the trust of people from BJP heartland, where PM Modi was in power for almost 13 years as Chief Minister before moving to center.
