The Punjab Youth Congress (PYC) members who were did Padyatra towards the Mohali Airport was stopped by Punjab Police by Lathicharge.
The members of Punjab Police also used water cannons because the people try to break through the barricades, under control.
They all began padyatra in to give support of their demand to give the name of Mohali Airport after Shaheed Bhagat Singh. The president of PYC Amanpreet Singh Lally aqnd Vijay Inder Shimla former MP was rounded up the police. All the persons were arrested from the Phase 8 police station.
They were free from jail in the evening by doing all the legal formalities. The leader of the opposition in the Punjab Assembly Charanjit Singh Channi reached the Police station to meet detained persons. The well beings were injured badly.
