A Standard Automatic Driving Test centre will be soon opened in Patiala on the Nabha Road. The budget of 1.15 crore Rs passed for the project at the beginning and there are most of chances that it will complete it in one month.
Deputy Commissioner of Patiala Varun Roojam said that the work of centre was stretched to 1.40 acres and 90 percent of centre work had been completed. He also said the Certifying Testing procedure of Station-cum-automated driving test track and temporary building has been completed, while the administrative building is under construction.
He explained that when the centre will complete then the light duty driving license will give to the people who will qualify the test. Traffic lights and other signs are also asked during test of applicant.
