The Counter-Intelligence wing of the Punjab Police today claimed to have busted a terror module with the arrest of three persons.
One of them was working as a sewadar in a Gurdwara Police said that the accused belong to the Khalistan Zindabad Force and he had links with Pakistani and other foreign-based terrorists.
They were identified as Gurpal Singh alias Pala of Jalalpur Kalan , Major Singh from Karnal and now living at Dera Gurdwara Guruana Sahib and Rachhpal Singh of Jalalabad lives at Khuda Ali Sher near Chandigarh.
IG MF Farooqui said the police acquire knowledge about the module during an investigation into the attack on RSS leader Brig Jagdish Gagneja.
Farooqui said that major had links with terrorists in Belgium, England and Pakistan, which includes Ranjit Singh Neeta and other KZF members and he received a major consignment of arms a few days ago and planning to attack at several places. Major was detained with a .30-bore pistol and 10 cartridges and the process of interrogation led to the arrest of Rachhpal from Khuda Ali Sher today.
