From today the Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producers, Verka have increased their milk prices by Rs 2 per litre, whereas the price of full cream milk have been hiked to Rs 4 a litre.
The revised prices along with Punjab will be applicable in all nearby state such as, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh with immediate effect. In the past six month it is second time when milk prices were increased by verka.
As per the Milkfed, here is the New Rate List Of Milk Per Litre
- Full cream (orange): Rs 52
- Standard (green) Rs 46
- Toned (blue) Rs 42
- Double-toned (yellow)Rs 38
The decision is taken after Milkfed had announced hike of Rs 20 per kg fat on procurance rates to dairy farmers on 1st March.
