The central government has strictly instructed Punjab & Haryana government to scrutinize the increase of dengue as 600 instances have been recorded from Gurgaon.
A senior official said,” The government doctors have not been allowed to take any leave till the situation is controlled”.
Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Head of epidemiology department, Ludhiana, said,” Punjab & Haryana both states are well prepared to handle this situation.”
Statistics says that 630 instances have been captured from the nearby areas of Gurgaon and an official said that counting of patients suffering from malaria is getting increased and so far 1656 cases have been reported. Further, he added that as Haryana and Delhi are near to each other and share their boundary so this location has greatly impacted Haryana. But suitable measures and advance medical services have controlled the situation.
Punjab health department officials have stated that to control the situation they have set up new wards and involved suitable measures and techniques to oversee the condition.
