A City Hospital 50-bedded mother and child health centre was inaugurated by Punjab Health Minister Surjit Kumar Jyani.
The total cost that was used to build this hospital is almost 8.7 crore Rupees. He addressed mediapersons with common people the hospital was available with the modern equipment facilities.
He also promised that safe child and institute for deliveries with facilities, hospitals for maternity will be build in each and every district of Punjab. The doctor for this hospital will appoint soon.
The government has targeted to ensure 100 percent safe rate for newborns. Because the death rate of new born was 27 out of per1000 deliveries. The new centre builds for the registration process on ground floor.
This hospital includes dispensary, OPD, sample collection, diagnostic room, operation theatre, recovery room and nursery room. On second floor, there are six wards of 32 bed capacity, 10 special rooms, nurse station and doctor room.
