Rail schedule was badly interrupted by the demonstration of Dera Sacha Sauda Followers in Malwa region, it has almost made cancelled the departure of 47 trains.
The continuous demonstration of followers has impacted the train services. Almost 13 trains were abandoned and six were temporarily discontinued. Furthermore, 34 trains within Ferozepur and Ludhiana, Ferozepur and Fazilka and Ferozepur and Bathinda were abandoned as track was blocked at Bathinda and Moga.
Rail Traffic Impacted Sirsa
The imposed bann on screening of MSG-2 and subsequent protest had caused cancellation of many trains in Sirsa also. The Kisan express which was moving from Bathinda to Delhi through Sirsa was ceased at Sirsa railway station.
