A pedal powered washing machine has been developed by three students of Quest group of Institutions. This machine is basically based on to use manual energy to work rather than use electrical energy.
The two students that developed the machine are Amandeep Singh, Kamaljit Singh and Tajbir Singh Chahal. The capacity of washing machine is almost 6 Kilogram.
It will use to save time and it also save power also. The operation of the machine is that the pedaling causes the drum of the washing machine to rotate and the same time the electric energy is generated and after that clothes are washed.
This machine gives benefits to rural areas. The people will easily implement this washing machine only the person have to pedal the cycle system begins its work. Besides, it will become a good tool for exercise as it work s by pedaling.
