Yesterday a tree plantation event is organised in District Courts complex of Patiala under the authorities of the Punjab Legal Services and Harminder Singh Madaan who is the Judge-cum-Chairman of District Legal Services Authority. Outside the District Courts complex in this plantation drive 20 saplings are planted by the officers.
Commissioner of Patiala Ajit Singh Pannu appreciated this plantation drive of officers of District Legal Services Authority, Patiala. He also told that trees are the source of oxygen as well as keeps the environment clean so we have to plant at least one tree in a year. We also get so many benefits from the trees like fruits ,flowers and fuel as well as timber.
District & Sessions Judge, Patiala Harminder Singh Madaan told about the benefits of the trees also. He said that trees helps in minimizing global warming and also trees provide us oxygen without it we cannot live for a moment. Trees makes our environment safe for us by consuming carbon dioxide.
Ramvir Deputy Commissioner of Patiala told that if we plant more and more trees then we can manage the issues of global warming very effectively.
This plantation drive was organised on the orders of the Justice SS Saron who is the Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court and with the help of authorities of the Punjab Legal Services
