Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Ravinder Singh Brahmpura filed nomination papers for Khadoor Sahib bypoll in presence of deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal.
As the Congress leader Ramanjit Singh Sikki resigned from his post of MLA due to protest against sacrilege incidents held in village Baath falling in the constituency after that seat is vacant.
Other candidates like Dr Sumel Singh Sidhu, Sikki and Bhai Baldeep Singh as they will file their nomination papers on January 27, which is planned as last day of nomination.
