Diljit Dosanjh has won the best debut trophy at the Filmfare awards. Harshvardhan Kapoor is not happy with Diljit Dosanjh winning best debut trophy so he has questioned this award of Diljit Dosanjh. Harshvardhan Kapoor said that he believes that Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh has been already featured in a Hindi film as well as in many regional projects.
Diljit Dosanjh won the best debut trophy at the Filmfare award for his stint in Udta Punjab. Harshvardhan was also nominated in the same category for his movie Mirzya. He said that the award should have gone to the people who are actually newcomers. Not to somebody who had worked in many films before heading to Bollywood.
Filmfare Executive Editor Anuradha Choudhary tweeted that Harshvardhan Kapoor is thinking that he deserved the Filmfare more than Diljit Dosanjh. Harshvardhan Kapoor just better your acting skills buddy .
Harshvardhan Kapoor shot back at Anuradha Choudhary and said that I don’t feel entitled to any award. I am just questioning that who is a newcomer and i have no problems losing to a genuine newcomer.
Except from the Filmfare Awards, Harshvardhan Kapoor has won most of the best debut awards this year.
Sonam Kapoor has won the critics award for best actress for her performance in the Neerja movie in the same award show.
