Country’s highest flag was hoisted in the remembrance of the great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on the occasion of his 108th birth anniversary.
Memorizing the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters, Anil Joshi, Local bodies minister, said we have got the fruit of their sacrifices and if today we are enjoying this is just because of them.
Joshi and Navjot Kaur Sidhu both hoisted the tricolor and felt proud to be the part of this great ceremony and said this moment was a special moment for all as this flag was the highest flag ever hoisted in the state.
Minister stated that Amritsar has always been a prominent city of our country and renowned all over the world for its religious and historic importance and this time again it would become a reason for Amritsar residents to be proud as hoisting of flat at the height of 170 feet will enchant the people around the state.
