The farmers whose cotton crops have suffered the attack of whitefly have been committed by Prakash Singh Badal that Amount of Rs 600 crore would be splurged among strained farmers.
“We are firmly behind the hard working and resilient farmers of the state to help them in this hour of crisis” added Badal. He further added that Shiromani Akali Dal is always there to redeem the loss suffered by the farmers.
The Government made available free supply of power worth Rs 28,000 crore and apart from this, government purchased the whole stock of grain however wheat crop was badly affected by unscheduled rain.
