The markets in Mohali Town will begin to paid parking soon if the proposal is accepted by Municipal Corporation in meeting which will held on 16 February.
The committee will comprise of three members who will represent market committees, they all in the favor that paid parking system will be implemented in all the markets and they all should be managed properly.
They only want that MC would accept their proposal on 16 Feb. Members of Market committee said that Mayor Kulwant Singh is also in the favor of paid parking.
The committee will mention the shortcomings of existing parking of 8 Phase, Phase 3B2 and Phase 5 and they also advised that these should be removed from the parking lots. They noted that contractors were not organizing and manage the parking lots and CCTVs were implemented put they did not functioned properly.
