Yesterday all the cases against Jagdish Bhola who is the drug lord were put together and are being heard by the special CBI court. Next hearing for this case is postponed to September 2.
In the last hearing of this case charges had framed under the Section 4 of the PMLA and crimes that he committed to buy these properties and charges under NDPS Act were also framed yesterday.
Charges were framed under the Section 3 and 4 of the Act had been pressed by the Enforcement Directorate against Jagdish Bhola. ED said that around Rs one Crore has been exchanged for eight sales actions.
Satish Karkare Defence counsel of Bhola said that there is no evidence which proves wrong doings of Bhola’s on the records. So he filled a discharge petition under Section 227 of the CRPC which is inclined by the court.
According to the Enforcement Directorate scanner there were around 45 accused who have links with Bhola was arrested by Punjab Police in November 2013 for their involvement in this international drug racket.
The Enforcement Directorate also conducting inquiries to finding that how money is used and the flow of money which Bhola and his partners earned from their drug business. And The Enforcement Directorate also questioned Bikram Majithia who is the state Revenue and Public Relations Minister regarding this case.
