After six days the army carried out surgical strikes across the Loc, the border area villagers today started going back to their home. Now they were feeling better and happy.
All villagers are tensed our ripe paddy crop will get damaged if not harvested soon, Zora Manjit Singh of Ram Singh Bhaini village said since the government had ordered to open schools, he had returned his children back home to prevent the loss of studies.
Some villagers have , complained that they are forced by government officials to leave the camps and go back to the respective villages. Zora Singh asked a resident of Bakhushah village who was staying in a relief camp at Sant Kabir Institute, near Fazilka.
Harbans Singh of Bakhushah village, Manjit Singh of Wisakhawala village, Dalip Singh of Retewali Bhain village all asked that government forced all villagers to leave camps and return back to their home.
Official sources asked 4,471 residents staying in 31 relief camps set up in various parts of the district and 1,000 have left camp and set up at Sant kabir institute, National College, Government ITI, Behak Khas, Kirianwali villages etc.
Additional Deputy Commissioner refused the allegation, but asked the villagers had starting leaving camps and leading every possible help to all villagers who wanted to return on their own and some villagers return back at home for education to their wards and to harvest the paddy crop.
