Punjab & Haryana High Court withdrew its verdict on an invocation stimulating the ban on the disputable Punjabi movie The Mastermind- Jinda Sukha.
The petition shifted to the bench which is supervised by Justice H S Sidhu, who set the next hearing on 20th October. The CBFC (Central Board Of Film Certification) revoked the screening of movie as it opposes the “security & integrity of the nation”.
This movie is grounded on a real story of Harjinder Singh Jinda & Sukhdev Singh Sukha, who were Khalistani militants and this story is all about terrorism.
The producer stated that base of movie is truth & facts and Jinda & Sukha had confessed to the crime so it should not be banned as he has invested around Rs 50 lakh on the promotion itself
